Pool Opening
POOL OPENING INCLUDES
• Remove winter cover, blow cover with leaf blower, fold, and store in your preferred storage area
• Pool deck area blown off with leaf blower
• Lightly scrub the coping and caulk joint with a deck brush
• Remove and store all winterization plugs
• Reassemble the filter, pool equipment, and start the filtration system
**Water level MUST be at operating level (mid-tile line) and the electrical system turned on
• Screw all cover anchors down (where applicable)
• Brush pool walls, floor, and tile with nylon pool brush
• ½ hour of leaf removal and skimming of pool surface with leaf net
• Re-Install ladders and rails
• Heater will be tested but left off
• Filter pumps set to run 24 hours per day
• Inspection of equipment and accessories to determine if any repairs are required
**If repairs are required, they must be approved by the customer prior to work being completed and may require a return visit
• Addition of (3) pounds of chlorine shock
• Addition of (4) 3” chlorine tablets to the chlorine feeder or (2) 3” tablets in each skimmer basket
* Pool Opening DOES NOT include vacuuming. Please call to schedule a separate appointment for vacuuming to be performed at the regular service call rate.
** If a return visit to start the filter system is needed due to the water level being lower than the necessary operating level all service rates will apply.
